Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Bladder & Bowel Community

Last updated: 27/03/2020 10:50

Due to the recent raised protection measures around the Coronavirus outbreak we’d like to reassure you of the continued dedication and commitment to you, our community.

The current advice (at time of writing) is to avoid non-essential travel, regularly wash your hands, avoid touching your face, and avoid leaving the house except for essential reasons such as buying food, health reasons or work (where unavoidable), as well as social distancing at a minimum of 6 feet.  The police are now enforcing these measures. With events cancelled, more and more people working from home and schools now closed in the UK, this has quickly become a health concern across the World.

However, at Bladder & Bowel Community, our responsibility to our audience remains unchanged, and our team will continue to work tirelessly to meet community demand as normal. Just Can’t Wait Cards are being delivered as usual, and our team are processing requests across services as normal.

Regarding our Home Delivery service, robust contingency plans are in place, including a priority delivery service, and we maintain a full fleet of local drivers.  We are adhering to the no contact regulations for all deliveries, knocking on doors and leaving parcels on the step, or in dedicated places.

The situation regarding Coronavirus is under constant review. Should anything change, we will communicate this to our community promptly.

We wish you the very best of health at this time.

– Bladder & Bowel Community Team
